He pulls every permit himself, so you never deal with the building department. He provides a written scope of work with specified materials on every job.

Kitchen Remodeling

Kitchens are sold here as complete remodels, not fixture swaps.William Beagley does the design work himself, and he will also build from plans you already have. Design is a paid line item — and if you hire Better Builders Construction to do the build, the design cost comes off the final price.

The written scope names the actual products: the cabinet line, the countertop material, the fixture models. Not "customer's choice" allowances that get priced later.

Bathroom Remodeling

Bathrooms are sold here as complete remodels. The same person quotes the job, pulls the permit, schedules the plumbing, and is on site. Plumbing is performed by a licensed subcontractor William Beagley supervises.

Pricing depends on scope — whether plumbing or walls move, the cabinet grade, the tile, and what gets found behind the drywall. The only way to a real number is a free estimate.

Whole-Home Remodels & Additions

Whole-home remodels and additions are bigger commitments, and they are run the same way: one licensed contractor owns the project from the first walkthrough to the final walkthrough. Footings, frost depth, tying into the existing structure, and the permits that come with adding square footage are all handled.

A whole-home remodel or a home addition typically runs three months to a year, depending on the size of the project.

A one-year workmanship warranty on every project

Every project carries a one-year workmanship warranty. What it covers depends on the project type, and it is itemized — cabinets, plumbing, electrical, flooring, painting, and more, depending on the scope. A workmanship warranty covers the quality of the installation. Manufacturer warranties on products and appliances are separate and come from the manufacturer.

What it's actually like to live through a remodel

Plastic containment

The work area is sealed off with plastic containment so dust stays in the room being worked on, not in the rest of the house.

Daily cleanup

The job site is cleaned up at the end of each day. You are not living in a construction zone overnight.

A room out of service

Be honest about this part: a kitchen or bathroom will be out of service for a stretch. Ventilation runs during dusty work. Plan for it, and we will tell you how long before we start.
